About Oz Wheels

In 1971, an Italian Company, the Oz Group, was founded by Silvano Oselladore and Pietro Zen, hence the Company name derived from their initials O and Z. Oz produces both motorcycle and car wheels, better known for their alloy wheels. They are a well known wheel supplier in the motorsport industry. They are also an Original Equipment Manufacturer supplier, supplying many manufacturers as well as in the aftermarket sales business. The main competitor for OZ is BBS. In 1984 OZ supplied Eddie Cheever’s Alfa Romeo and Riccardo Patrese team in the Formula with OZ wheels. In 1990, Wheels OZ were supplied to the Toyota Rally Team when Carlos Sainz won his first World Rally Championship. As OZ Wheels are well recognized in the motorsport industry they currently supply the F1 Teams the Ford World Rally Team, the Audi Sports Car Racing and DTM teams and Red Bull Racing and Renault Sport. They now supply 80% of IndyCar Teams and 90% or WRC teams with their quality wheels. They are also the exclusive suppliers to the F1A Formula 2 Championship and GP3 Series.
