Developed by Heidenau RSW technology for motorcycle tyres ensures a low warm-up time of the tyre until it reaches the full grip on the track. This also applies to the K Heidenau 45th
RSW stands for Racing Soft Warm - the technology was developed by Heidenau, and provides the so-equipped tyres minimum warm-up time before they reach the full grip. However, the K 45 Heidenau is not only a pure race tyres - he may well as his characteristic forth motorcycle summer tyres be driven onto the street. The profile with mainly shallow grooves, the wide center groove and the prison blocks in the tread center offers optimum performance on the road, in all weather conditions. When wet, the Heidenau K 45 must nevertheless be driven a little more cautious - the center groove drains the tyres very good, high amounts of water on the road are for K 45 yet problematic. For optimum performance, it brings on dry roads - thanks RSW very short time.
After the fall of the tyre plant Heidenau from Pneumant Group was spun off and made independent. It was renamed in 1994 as a private company, and produced principally tyres for the motorcycle industry. The product range was expanded and now includes more than 500 tyre. In addition to the motorcycle sector is also produced in other sectors, but with slightly less wide range of items. A special feature of Heidenau is also the production of replicas of the original tyres for all GDR vehicles, the Trabi to Barkas, the various motorcycles and every trailer and auxiliary vehicles of the GDR era.
