In MX2 a double victory by Jorge Prado further increases his lead in the championship standings

Loket 's historic  Serpentine  circuit hosted the  Grand Prix of Czech Republic  for the thirteenth round of the  2019 FIM Motocross World Championship  and the race that marked the return to Europe for the series after the Indonesian double-header. On the hard and rocky soil of the Czech course, all the  Pirelli -equipped riders put their trust in the  SCORPION™ MX32™ Mid Soft  front and rear. Tyres that, in different sizes combined with mousses of various hardness provided by the racing service of the Italian company, meet the needs of each rider.  Pirelli  swept the event by setting the fastest laps in all the sessions with different riders and bikes, owning all the holeshots, and acing podium positions in both classes.

In  MXGP   Romain Febvre  managed to break  Tim Gajser 's winning streak. The Frenchman won the Qualification Heat and both races, taking his victory in the top class since 2016. After seven consecutive victories  Gajser  finished in second place but he remains firmly in the lead of the standings. There was an excellent performance by  Jeremy Seewer  who, thanks to the third place, continues to occupy second position in the championship.  Jeremy Van Horebeek  finished fifth with his private Honda confirming the great and consistent performance of  Pirelli  tyres.

Pirelli  dominated the  MX2  class by assisting nine riders to slots in the top ten. First place belonged again to  Jorge Prado  who has claimed each Grand Prix (12) he has contested in 2019. There was two good outings for  Henry Jacobi  who was second overall just ahead of  Thomas Kjer Olsen .  Adam Sterry  missed out on his first podium by just one point and had to settle for fourth position.

Pirelli  also won the  EMX85 European Championship . The victory went to Latvian  Edvard Bidzans .

The  Grand Prix of Belgium , the fourteenth round of the  2019 FIM Motocross World Championship,  will be hosted by the deep sand of  Lommel  next weekend.
