Barum BU 49 - the universal tyre for all axle positions

The Barum BU 49 comes from a blacksmith with a long tradition. Barum arose among others from the shoe manufacturer Bata. As early as 1924 finished Bata - an undertaking established in Czechoslovakia companies - rubber soles. Seven years and many experiments and development steps later Bata begins production of bicycle tyres. Three years later, car tyres are added. 1945 bundle Bata in Zlín, Rubena in Náchod and Mitas their experience in the rubber industry and establish Barum. Since then, the tyre specialist develops affordable quality tyre with long life.
